In 2007 & 2008 most of my notes are marked with a dot in the Omega (the last letter of the Greek word Euro) at the backside of the note.
In 2009 a dot in the O of the small word EURO at the backside; this mark is also valid for 2010 /2011/2012/2013 etc.
